June fast approaches, which means the PCWC Rodeo is nearly here! Below you will find a brief description of what to expect from the Rodeo on June 11 & 12, as well as specific schedule times and directions to the Bar 71 Ranch where the Rodeo takes place.

This year we are pleased to have Sid Koop (Truth Matters Ministries) returning as our guest speaker, and equally pleased to invite you to enjoy the musical performance by Crimson River in live concert for the entire family on Saturday night.

DESCRIPTION

The PCWC Rodeo isn’t your typical run-of-the-mill rodeo – it’s a family-friendly weekend full of events to be enjoyed by all ages, young and old alike! As PCWC’s main fundraising and awareness-raising event, we like to give everyone a taste of camp and community at the Rodeo.

Have you ever wondered what a horde of children chasing a greased pig looks like? You’ll find out during the “mini” arena games for children grades 5 and under! If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “I’d love to be a horse in a chuckwagon race one day,” our wild and wacky team youth events (grades 6-12) might just make your dreams come true. Of course, if all of that sounds like a little too much fun for you, rest assured that you will still be highly entertained at a safe distance from the bleachers, too.

Once you’ve had your fill of food at our amazing catered supper, as per tradition, our annual fundraising Pie Auction will allow you to bid on delicious, homemade, incredible pies in order to contribute to camp and keep it up and running for years to come. Please note that if you feel so led, you are welcome to make donations at any point throughout the day and not solely during the auction. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy live family music by Crimson River at this time.

Afterward, we invite you to camp overnight or come back out for Sunday morning where there will be a pancake breakfast served camp-style, a church service with Sid Koop, and a chili lunch to wrap up the weekend. So come and bring your families, your friends, & your lawn chair and join in the fun, laughter, and community at the 2022 PCWC Rodeo!
