Today we are answering a handful of FAQs about camp:

What age does my child have to be in order to apply?

Your child may attend a camp if they meet it’s specified age parameters by December 31st of this year.

What does a day at camp look like?

There are a few guarantees from camp: hearty camp-cooked meals, daily rides (or hikes!), wide games galore, boisterous nightly campfires complete with songs, skits, and staff sharing their ‘Real People’ story, and of course dedicated time spent in Scripture. Because each week the director is unique, the weather is unique, and the location is unique, every camp will have some variations – but the heart of PCWC towards its campers never changes.

What if financial restrictions are deterring us from applying?

We love to send kids to camp. If you are financially restricted, please apply anyhow, and contact us directly to discuss scholarship opportunities at office@pcwc.ca

What happens if my child is placed on a waitlist?

If there is a spot that opens up at the camp to which you applied, the spot will be offered to those waitlisted in the order of their lottery draw (OR in order of timestamp if the application was received after lottery cut-off). If your child were next in line, the camp Registrar would contact you directly to offer you the spot.
